Frequently Asked Questions

An adult (16+) party is a 2-hour event. A youth party can vary from 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the age range.

It is ideal to book at least 2 weeks in advance. Depending on the size of your party and other considerations, I may be able to work with a shorter timeline but cannot guarantee this. 

Whatever the time your guest arrives, they have until the end of the event to work on their painting. I will make every effort to give them the needed attention and guidance to catch up and enjoy the experience.

The default canvas size for all of my designs is 11x14 unless otherwise noted. If you would like to upgrade to a larger size, you may do so upon advance request and an additional fee.

Yes! You can select a design from the Color Me Happy gallery or the Gallery On The Go gallery. Or I can work with you to create a custom design at no additional charge. But if a custom design is  preferred, we will need to finalize prior to the event. 

I request a $50 deposit when we book your event and the balance will be collected at the end of party. Payment can be made via credit card, PayPal, CashApp, or Venmo.

The minimum age is 7 but younger children may be allowed to paint if adult supervision is provided.

I really hope that you do not have to cancel your event, but also understand things happen! If you could please let me know in advance you will receive a refund of your deposit. Parties that cancel with less than 1 week notice will receive credit or the option to rebook the paint party for another later time. Please note, same day cancellation is subject to No Refund and No Reschedule.

If inclement weather is a concern, I will consult with you and we will make a decision as to whether to hold your event or reschedule. We will consider local school/business closings as guidance.

A paint party is meant to be a fun group activity that allows people to relax, connect and get creative. If requested, I can pre-trace your chosen design to make for an easier session. I also offer lots of instruction and confidence-boosting support along the way!
